Generalist / Full Time

Capriccio Elite is seeking to hire a person who is well rounded and possess multiple skill sets and organization skills as applied to supporting CapElite employees and individual receiving services. The successful candidate will have strong adaptability in changing environments, and willingness to learn and expand on the candidates existing experiences. The successful candidate will also be expected to learn and evaluate current systems, make recommendations on improvements, bring skills of organization, have knowledge of various technologies to make the best use of agency resources, have good evaluation and writing skills, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Job duties include:

Screening and Processing new applicants
On-boarding and off-boarding of new employees and service recipients.
Printing initial and annual documents for employees and individuals served
Record reviews
Scanning and filing
Work with team to schedule trainings and meetings
Marketing
Staff retention activities
Administrative scheduling
Greet guests of CapElite admin office
Delegate route calls and visitors

Other duties will be assigned as skills are learned or demonstrated.

Skills needed include:

Familiarity and working knowledge of Office 365, Adobe, Indeed, Facebook and other productivity and marketing tools.
Skilled at quickly adapting to other technologies, applications, and programs.
High level organizational skills

Abilities include:

The successful candidate should have the ability to work in an open office, research how to complete tasks, use multiple programs, and applications to complete various assigned duties, ability to greet employees and the public in person and on the phone with enthusiasm in the spirit of our mission. Ability to learn and apply all aspects of the work we do to include learning and applying policy and procedure, regulation, and law as it relates to our work.

 

Salary: $30,000 per year + Benefits

Direct Support Professional / Part Time

Seeking people interested in working in our In-Home services in Galax and Wytheville helping children to achieve greater independence in their home and communities. Paid training is provided!

Job duties include helping others to reach their goal of independence through support with activities of daily living, increasing friendships and social connections in the individual’s home and community, maintaining health and safety, and more.

Successful candidates are dependable, creative, active, fun-loving, possess good decision-making skills, able to report/document the support provided objectively and professionally, and be able to work independently and in a team environment.

Salary: $25,000.00 – $30,000.00 per year

Available Schedules:

Services working with children are after school hours and may become daytime hours during the summer break.

3:00 PM – 8:00 PM Monday through Friday (2 positions in Galax, 3 positions in Wytheville)

Minimum Requirements for All Positions

18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED

Pass Criminal Background check and Child Protective registry checks.

Valid Driver’s license with satisfactory DMV score and no DUI’s.

Pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.

Meet physical requirements of the position to include the basic ability to lift, bend, stoop, reach, push/pull, stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and see.

All offers of employment are contingent upon passing a drug screening, criminal background, and child protective service registry as well as having a clean driving record (no DUIs) with a point balance of zero or greater. Medical fitness exams are required for services that exceed our standard physical requirements. Minimum education is GED or greater. Use of the employee’s vehicle may be required.
